This Tuesday, May 30th, the Social and International Action Departments of the Unió de Federacions Esportives de Catalunya organized the seminar "Base sport and social inclusion", within the framework of the european Replay project in which the UFEC collaborate.
More than 50 people, from different sports federations and clubs, universities and entities, did not miss the appointment in an action where, once again, the UFEC brought together the third social and sports sector.
The seminar had different presentations and, in the afternoon, the last transnational meeting was held with all the partners of the Replay project, a project that aims to promote grassroots sport through training and mentoring of coaches and technicians to improve their communication and leadership skills.

The presentations given throughout the day were given by Milena de Murga, head of the Social and International Action Departments, who presented the different local and European projects of the departments; Spartaco Grieco, president of the sports club Margherita Sport i Vita (leader of the Replay project), explaining the objectives and results of the project; Ismael Sánchez, manager of the Federació Esportiva Catalana de Paralítics Cerebrals, explaining the great work of the federation in terms of social inclusion in sport; Jordi Renom, PhD in Psychology and professor at the University of Barcelona, who spoke about the most determining psychological factors in the training of coaches, emphasizing the need for this group to receive training in transversal skills in order to power to have more tools for work with his/her athletes. Finally, a round table was held with some of the Replay participants, explaining their experiences, learnings and testimonies in their participation in the project.
