Federations have been briefed on the political context, future programs and funding opportunities in 2023
The head of the International and Social Action Department of the Unió de Federacions Esportives de Catalunya (UFEC), Milena de Murga, participated, this Monday, January 30th, in the Erasmus+ Sport 2023 information day organized by the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
The meeting took place in Brussels (Belgium) with the aim of informing potential applicants about the political context, future programs and funding opportunities in 2023. For the UFEC it was a good opportunity to spread the word of the federations interested in participating in European projects.

In this sense, the speakers also had the opportunity to discuss the current policy of the Erasmus+ Sport 2023 program and provide advice on the preparation and presentation of proposals, and on the main drawbacks at a financial level. In addition, it has also been an excellent time to network and contact potential partners.
For Milena de Murga, "INFODAY is an excellent opportunity to create a network with other European organizations in the sports field (clubs, federations, think tanks, universities, NGOs, etc.). It is a pride to see how sports federations that we have advised and encouraged to participate in these meetings are now leading Erasmus Plus Sport projects". In addition, he also adds that "from the UFEC we are currently leading two projects and participating in six as partners, always using sport as a central tool for transformation".
